Today we are watching the first 25 minutes of a video about microbes, from the 4-part series, Intimate Strangers: Unseen Wonders-- Creators of the Future.

The assignment is in Google Classroom as well.

Please take notes and be sure to answer the questions in your notebook on IAN p.147.

Viruses and Ebola Outbreak

We've watched videos about how the immune system battles with viruses over the last week.  We've debated whether a virus is alive or not.  You are currently animating the Lytic Cycle for a Project Assessment.  But most importantly, we've talked a lot about keeping yourself healthy.

The Ebola virus is currently our topic of study.

Make a list of questions you want to have answered.  Follow the links to resources that can help you and share what you have learned with the class today.
You may complete the Epidemiology Triangle with your table group.

Happy New Year!

No late work will be accepted after January 7, 2015.

Today, the goal was to grade our cell tests and finish the Egg-speriment Conclusion.
The conclusion  must:

  1. answer the question with a complete sentence,
  2. be supported by data, and
  3.  the results explained.
We didn't quite finish...so it's homework.
